We look forward
to having you to the annual
June Jamboree tournament. For 2003, the
tournament will feature 3 age groups and 43 teams from Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, New Jersey, and New York states.

14&U – Lower Allen

16&U – Plainfield Park &
Heishman’s Softball Complex
18&U – Heishman’s Softball Complex
& Shippensburg University
- Format:
Pool play will begin
Saturday the 14th beginning at 9:00 am on all fields.
All teams will play 3 games on Saturday. Championship play will begin first thing
Sunday morning with the 16/18&U championship games being played at
Heishman’s Softball Complex, while all 14&U games will be played at Lower Allen Park.
- Rain
Phone: In case of inclement weather, the rain phone
number will be 717.243.3956. Please
appoint only one
person per team to access this number. The recording will be kept current and
include any changes or cancellations if they happen. An email will also be sent to the
contact person should anything happen and updates will be made on the

- Cancellation: If at any time you find out your team will not
be able to participate, please let me know ASAP to be considered for
future tournaments.
- Tournament
Hosts: Several teams will be helping host this
particular tournament, including the Intensity and Keystone Wildkats organizations. These teams have done a lot of work to
prepare for this tournament to ensure you receive a quality tournament. Please support these teams by cleaning
up after yourselves at the various parks, and continue to support these
teams by taking advantage of the reasonably priced foods they offer at the
various concession stands they will be operating, along with the
tournament t-shirt they will be selling.
- Directions
and addresses for all the parks can be found on our website, http://pa-softball.com, and are also on
the tournament brackets.
- Pool
play and championship brackets are enclosed and are also posted online. Any changes to the brackets will be
emailed to the contact person and also posted on the website. If it affects your Saturday morning start
time you will be notified.
- Hersheypark: Quite a few teams that have entered tournament will be attending Hersheypark, a nearby theme park that has over 60
rides and does catered picnics. The
park has given us a discount rate of $25.50/person (regular $35.95) on any
quantity of tickets. More
information on the website under “Area Events”.
- Tournament
T-shirts, Pins, and Team Pictures will be available for purchase at all fields. Advance orders can also be taken online. Shirts and tanks are available from
S-XXL (all sizes may not be available at certain locations). We will have a photographer taking team
pictures. 8x10” team pictures are
$5 on group orders and can be customized to include your team and players
name. Pictures can also be framed
by request. Register online to have
your team picture taken. Team
pictures will also be placed online after the tournament in case you want
to add it to your team website.
- Carmo Photography will also be attending the tournament. Carmo
Photography specializes in action photos at youth sports events. Back for another year of providing the
girls with between-game entertainment, Carmo and
staff will be set up at all the complexes throughout the tournament.
- Please take a look at the
enclosed brackets, making sure your team is scheduled for all 3 pool play
games. Any changes to the enclosed
schedule will be emailed and also posted online (in bold face).
